HDR, Inc. is seeking an Area Business Development Manager to identify and grow client opportunities across Drinking Water, Wastewater, Federal Water, and Water Resource Management in the Missouri/Kansas region.

You will lead pursuit efforts, build strategic market networks, and coordinate with regional leaders to position HDR for project awards. The role requires deep BD experience in the A/E/C industry, exceptional writing and presentation skills, and the ability to travel and engage with

Competenze

• Minimum 10 years in the industry
• Proven ability to develop and win client opportunities
• Deep knowledge of procurement in A/E/C professional services
• Strong writing, presentation, and networking skills

Mansioni

• Identify and qualify leads to achieve annual Net Fee Booked goals across the Water market sectors
• Develop and manage area business development and marketing budgets
• Lead pursuit teams with winning capture strategies and proposals
• Maintain and grow client relationships and key accounts
• Direct content marketing to strengthen HDR’s brand and thought leadership
• Coach and mentor BD and marketing staff; travel to client locations as needed
• Develop long-term strategic plans to grow market share and investments
• Engage project teams to deliver persuasive interviews and materials
