Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks a senior Area Business Development Manager to drive client opportunities across Drinking Water, Wastewater, Federal Water, and Water Resource Management sectors in the Missouri/Kansas region. You will lead pursuits, develop strategies, and coach teams to win proposals.

You will collaborate with Market Sector Leaders and shape annual plans, forecast opportunities, and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to grow HDR’s presence in the water sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Self-starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads to achieve annual area and market sector Net Fee Booked (NFB) goals.
• Achieve area and market sector NFB goals.
• Manage area business development and marketing budgets.
• Maintain client relationships and financial dashboards for reporting metrics.
• Develop annual and long-term strategic plans with growth initiatives.
