Qualifikationen

• High school diploma (or equivalent); associate degree or certificate in engineering technology/water resources, or a vocational/technical degree in mechanics or related field, and ten (10) years of experience in wastewater treatment; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Supervisory experience preferred

Aufgaben

• planning, organizing, supervising, and reviewing the work of subordinates involved in the operation of wastewater treatment facilities (to include training, reviewing time sheets, and evaluating employee performance).
• overseeing the work of outside contractors.
• performing various administrative duties including monitoring budget adherence and inventory control.
• establishing policies, procedures, and standards.
• establishing and monitoring employee assignment schedules and equipment maintenance schedules.
• assisting in the preparation of a variety of reports and maintaining records as related to the utility system.
