Job summary

Prestage is seeking a Wastewater Plant Operator to oversee daily WWTP operations, ensuring smooth product flow by adjusting equipment and monitoring systems. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate recordkeeping to maintain high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and be able to work in a collaborative environment, following all safety protocols and SOPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or 1 year of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.
• Demonstrates problem solving, adaptability, and teamwork in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor control panels and wastewater equipment; adjust valves to regulate product flow.
• Maintain logs and record meter and gauge readings.
• Follow PPE requirements and safety procedures in the work area.
• Comply with USDA regulations, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF programs for product safety and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
