Job summary

Central States Water Resources is seeking a dedicated Wastewater Operator to operate and maintain our wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring regulatory compliance and safe, efficient plant operation.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a team across multiple shifts in a 24/7 facility. Training will be provided for SCADA and SAMS systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn plant software.
• Ability to operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and monitor wastewater treatment equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Conduct routine tests for water quality and chemical levels.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and record data for reports.
• Perform routine, corrective, and preventive maintenance on treatment systems and controls.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with plant staff as needed.
