Job summary

City of Rifle seeks Operators to perform a range of wastewater plant operations, maintenance, and laboratory analysis. Positions require CDL-B with air brake/tanker endorsements, and Colorado Wastewater certifications (A/B/C/D depending on level). Qualifications

• Requires valid Colorado Driver's License and CDL Class B with air brake and tanker endorsements.
• Must pass background checks, MVR, DOT physical, and drug/alcohol tests.
• On-call, rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays are expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, repair and analyze wastewater treatment facilities and related systems.
• Perform laboratory analysis and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Work under supervision of Wastewater Plant Supervisor.

Education

Colorado Driver's License

CDL Class B with air brake and tanker endorsements

Colorado Wastewater Class A certification

Colorado Wastewater Class B certification

Colorado Wastewater Class C certification
