Job summary

City of Brush in Colorado is seeking an entry-level Wastewater Plant Operator Level D to join the Public Works team. Under the supervision of the Wastewater Foreman, you will help operate, maintain and repair the treatment facilities.

This non-exempt position requires basic knowledge of chemistry and mathematics, the ability to work outdoors in varied conditions, and willingness to obtain a Colorado Class D license within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Colorado Class D license within 6 months.
• Ability to obtain Colorado Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds and collect samples.
• Analyze samples and adjust process controls.
• Operate pumps, blowers and related equipment; perform maintenance.
• Maintain records and assist in lab tests.
