Job summary

Valeo Service is seeking a Maintenance Operator for our Reno, NV facility. You will operate and maintain industrial wastewater treatment systems and perform routine monitoring, sampling, and lab tests to ensure process compliance.

Responsibilities include adjusting chemical feed rates, aeration, pumping, and minor equipment repairs while supporting safety procedures and incident response. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in wastewater operations, basic computer skills, and the ability to read

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in wastewater treatment operations.
• Basic computer skills are required to monitor and report process data.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs, electrical diagrams, and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain wastewater treatment systems.
• Conduct routine monitoring, sampling, and lab tests.
• Adjust feed rates and process parameters to maintain compliance.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Assist during inspections and respond to process upsets or spills.
