Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a maintenance technician to monitor operating conditions, meters, valves, pumps, and gauges at our Burlingame site.

You will collect wastewater samples, record readings, complete logs and worksheets, review service logs, submit work orders for malfunctions, perform routine cleaning and inspections, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor operating conditions, meters, valves, pumps, and gauges.
• Collect and test wastewater samples.
• Record meter and gauge readings and operational data.
• Complete records using logs written and electronic daily work sheets, review equipment service logs from previous comments or repairs on equipment, submit work orders for malfunctions identified during routine inspections.
• Performs routine pump station clening and inspections.
• Assists in troubleshooting pumps and other equipment; identifies malfunctions and take corrective action;
• Clean and maintain equipment, tanks, pumps, filters, and other work areas.
• Inspect all equipment on a regular basis
• Perform a variety of routine preventive and corrective maintenance duties within the assigned maintenance and operation division.
• Follow up site protocols, standard operating procedures, guides.
• Ensure safety standards are met.
