San Antonio River Authority is seeking a Maintenance Operator I-V to perform preventive maintenance on wastewater plant equipment and assist with plumbing and electrical repairs. The role includes operating power tools, assisting with special projects, and ensuring safety policies are followed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of related experience; licenses such as Class D wastewater operator and Class A CDL with tanker endorsement are required or may

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED with 1 year experience in operation, maintenance, and construction of collection systems.
• Qualified candidates may qualify for Maintenance Operator II–V based on licenses and years of experience.
• Must obtain Class D wastewater certificate within 1 year; must have Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.

Mansioni

• Performs routine maintenance on plant equipment, repairs motors and gearboxes, and cleans pumps and surfaces.
• Repairs electrical equipment and troubleshoots machinery; assists with outfall line maintenance.
• Operates power tools and performs site maintenance, including hauling, landscaping, welding and fabrication.
• Assists with special projects as needed and ensures safety policies are followed.
