City of Largo is seeking a dedicated Wastewater Collection Worker to perform a range of skilled to semi-skilled tasks in the sanitary sewer system. You will operate trucks and excavation equipment, assist with concrete and asphalt repairs, and maintain accurate CMMS records under supervision.

Responsibilities emphasize safety, teamwork, compliance with SOPs, and readiness for variable outdoor work in heat and humidity, including emergency response and callouts.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class B with Tanker endorsement within six months.
• FWPCOA Wastewater Collections C Certification within two years.
• CPR/First Aid Training within six months.
• One-year: MOT training, FEMA ICS 100, Confined Space, Trench Safety.

Responsabilidades

• Operate light to heavy trucks and equipment for wastewater work.
• Assist with concrete finishes and asphalt repairs.
• Install and repair gravity and force main pipelines.
• Install pipeline fittings and repair components.
• Adjust manhole rings and covers to grade as needed.
• Repair/install sanitary sewer components and cleanouts.
• Enter data into CMMS including timekeeping and work orders.
• Assist with MOT setup and traffic control.
• Follow SOPs for Sanitary Sewer Overflow procedures.
