Job summary

SEH is seeking a Wastewater Intern to join our Water/Wastewater team in the United States. The internship exposes you to municipal wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment projects both in the field and in the office.

You will assist with construction observation, draft project information using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and gain hands-on experience while collaborating with engineers and field staff in an employee-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an undergraduate Civil/Environmental/Water Resources program.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications is preferred.
• Ability to travel to project sites as needed during the internship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction observation of lift stations, force mains, gravity sewers, and wastewater treatment facility improvements.
• Draft project information using AutoCAD/Civil 3D for wastewater systems and facilities.
• Support project managers and engineers with planning, design, and construction administration while communicating with staff, contractors, and clients.
