Job summary

Stfrancis is seeking an integrative engineering intern to assist in designing water and wastewater systems, prepare drawings and reports, and perform hydraulic modeling. You will participate in field investigations and assist in estimating construction costs while supporting permitting and project scheduling.

The role emphasizes developing technical skills with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software, alongside strong communication and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental engineering.
• Familiar with AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team-oriented and self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and analyzing water and wastewater facilities, distribution systems, and networks.
• Prepare drawings, reports, memoranda, and specifications.
• Perform hydraulic modeling, engineering calculations, and quantity take-offs.
• Participate in field investigations, tests, measurements, and site inspections; collect data.
• Contact vendors for quotes and assist with estimating construction costs.
• Support permitting, regulatory documentation, and project scheduling.
• Review drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Utilize engineering software and Microsoft Office to support tasks.
• Take on additional responsibilities to support the team and goals.
