Job summary

SEH in Saint Paul, MN invites a Wastewater Intern to join our Water/Wastewater team on a hands-on, field-and-office rotation. You’ll support construction observation, assist with project development, and gain experience across wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment projects.

Enrolled in Civil or Environmental Engineering as an undergraduate, you will travel to project sites, use AutoCAD for drafting, and collaborate with engineers and staff to deliver diligent, client-focused solutions

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related undergraduate program.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed for field work.

Responsibilities

• Support field staff by assisting with construction observation of lift stations, force mains, gravity sewers, and related upgrades.
• Assist project managers with wastewater project development, planning, design, and construction administration.
• Draft project information using AutoCAD and related software for wastewater collection systems and treatment facilities.
• Gain hands-on experience with municipal wastewater systems and regulatory compliance projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, staff, and clients to maintain clear communication.
