Job summary

SEH in St. Paul, MN is seeking a Wastewater Intern to join our Water/Wastewater team. You will work on municipal wastewater collection, conveyance, and treatment projects, in both field and office settings, gaining hands-on experience alongside engineers.

Assist with project development, planning, design, and construction administration while drafting information in AutoCAD and related software; travel to nearby sites will be required as part of summer duties.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in Civil, Environmental, or Water Resources undergraduate program.
• Reliable transportation to travel to office and project sites during summer season.
• Ability to travel to team meetings, site visits, and inspections as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Work on municipal wastewater projects in field and office settings.
• Assist construction observation of lift stations, force mains, gravity sewers, and treatment facility upgrades.
• Support project managers and engineers with planning, design, and construction administration.
• Draft project information using AutoCAD and related software for wastewater systems.
