Job summary

HDR is seeking a WTEM Business Class Director to lead wastewater and effluent management programs. This senior role oversees risk, planning, and delivery across multiple offices and market sectors, driving technical excellence and client value.

You will mentor leaders, advance strategic initiatives, collaborate with academic partners, and guide system-wide performance through QA and staffing decisions. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in a professional, architecture, or engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of related experience.
• Professional registration preferred for leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide company-wide leadership of technical capabilities within the business class.
• Coordinate with related business classes, market sectors, business groups and operations.
• Lead technical risk management and quality assurance processes.
• Oversee staff assignment and cross-office collaboration.
• Mentor technical leaders and support client development.
