Job summary

The City of Greeley is seeking a Water Systems Technician to support the Wastewater Collections team within the Water and Sewer Department. The technician will inspect, repair and maintain sanitary sewer lines and related facilities, including performing preventive maintenance and field work in various conditions.

Multiple levels (I–IV) are posted; candidates must meet license and certification requirements and be capable of standing by for on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required for licensure in Colorado.
• Colorado Wastewater Collection System Operator Class 1 Certification required within 1 year of employment.
• Current Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, repair, cleaning, and rehabilitation of sanitary sewer mains and related wastewater infrastructure.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to improve system reliability and reduce emergency repairs.
• Complete work orders and maintain logs using CityWorks or similar CMMS.
