City of McKinney is seeking Wastewater Maintenance Technician I with progression to Technician IV based on experience. Positions involve repairing and installing sewer mains, maintaining sewer lines, and operating related equipment.

Expect to work under supervision in wastewater collection systems, performing required maintenance and safety duties. The role requires teamwork, reliability, and the ability to perform physical tasks in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with wastewater construction, maintenance and repair experience or equivalent.
• Valid Class A CDL within 12 months of employment.
• NIMS IS-100 and IS-700 certifications within 6 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist in preparing work areas and securing job sites.
• Assist in preparing tools, materials, and equipment for assignments.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Repair and install sewer mains, lateral lines, and manholes.
• Mow and maintain sewer easements and assist jetting sewer lines.
