The City of Greeley is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic I–IV to join the Wastewater Treatment division in the Water & Sewer Department. The role involves maintaining and restoring operation of process equipment, tanks, and plant infrastructure, with daily preventive and predictive maintenance, and entry to confined spaces as needed.

Applicants should have basic mechanical and electrical skills, a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for on-call duties including nights and weekends.

Formación

• Valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical and electrical skills; familiarity with hand tools and equipment maintenance.
• Familiarity with electrical safety techniques, electrical diagrams and multimeters.
• Required to participate in a rotating on call schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to respond on-site within 45 minutes for after-hours emergencies.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical as part of the pre-employment process.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain proper operation of all equipment, buried and above ground assets directly and indirectly associated with treated water storage tanks.
• Perform daily preventative, predictive, and maintenance tasks on all process equipment and infrastructure.
• Inspect tanks and safety equipment; enter confined spaces as necessary.
• Work with pumps, motors, compressors, generators, screens, mixers, grinders, blowers, and general plant infrastructure.
• Operate near electrical switchgear, controls, and chemicals.
• Support Level I–IV with appropriate scope of maintenance tasks.
