Job summary

The City of Winter Garden is hiring a Collection Field Technician II to perform essential grounds maintenance, water/sewer line work, and assist in utility projects. The role requires physical work outdoors, operating basic equipment, and adherence to safety standards.

Experience in maintenance and utility tasks is preferred; CDL-B with endorsements and a valid work ethic are important. This position is Full-Time and located in Winter Garden, FL.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED where noted.
• CDL Class B with air brake and tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Prefer Florida Wastewater Collection System Operator C Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Maintain City grounds: trim foliage, mow grass, plant trees and shrubs.
• Remove debris and clean designated work areas and tools.
• Repair and clean work areas and equipment.
• Assist field crews and trades workers; mix concrete; assist with routine maintenance.
• Dig ditches and set up sandbags.
• Install traffic devices and barricades; patch roads.
