Job summary

The City of Greeley is seeking qualified candidates for Stormwater Systems Technician I, II, III, or IV. These roles maintain and repair the City's stormwater systems, operate a range of equipment, and support emergency operations to protect public health and the environment.

Positions offer a defined career path with increasing responsibilities, including supervision, lead duties, and advanced technical training as you progress from Technician I through IV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of related field maintenance work (construction, public works, utilities, stormwater, streets) or equivalent experience.
• CDL Class A with air brake and tanker endorsements within 12 months of hire.
• Flagger and Work Zone Traffic Control Certification within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP CCTV training or CCTV inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and construct stormwater infrastructure.
• Operate light and heavy equipment including vacuum trucks and CCTV systems.
• Read utility locates, maps, and engineering drawings; document work orders.
• Participate in winter maintenance and emergency response operations.
• Lead or assist on projects, coordinating teams and training less-experienced staff.
