Job summary

Veolia North America is seeking a maintenance technician to support the wastewater collection system. You will operate machinery, monitor conditions, and perform CLAIR on tools and equipment to maintain operability.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, basic troubleshooting, documentation, and potential on-call shifts. Requires a high school diploma and at least two years in a related role, with CDL and state licenses preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; read, write and comprehend English to interpret data and instructions.
• At least two years in a related position in a similar environment preferred with safety awareness.
• Experience using measurement tools, gauges and precision instruments.
• Must safely use trade tools and equipment and read data from meters and panels.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery and equipment for wastewater collection systems and follows control procedures.
• Performs CLAIR maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, inspection, minor repairs) on tools and equipment.
• Inspects field equipment, troubleshoots basic issues, and documents results in the database.
• May serve on-call rotations and travel for training as needed.
