Job summary

Veolia in North America seeks a technically capable operator to monitor and maintain plant and pump systems on-site. You will perform routine lab tests, calibrations, and CLAIR activities while following safety and environmental policies.

Work involves collecting samples, data recording, and basic troubleshooting as part of a collaborative team. On-call rotation may apply to site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Basic math skills and ability to read meters and gauges.
• Ability to operate process control software and CMMS systems.
• Team oriented with a willingness to learn and perform duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and monitor processes following procedures.
• Perform CLAIR on machines and document results.
• Collect water, wastewater and industrial waste samples and conduct field tests.
• Perform routine lab tests and calibrate portable meters.
• Learn to inspect and troubleshoot to determine repairs needed.
• Carry out manual labor and operate material handling equipment.
• Support facility maintenance as required.
