Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking a Utility Worker to perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and repair of tanks, drains, culverts, and associated structures. You will participate in maintaining wastewater piping, lift stations, and related equipment, adhering to safety rules and CMMS updates.

Requires a High School Diploma/GED and at least six months in a related role. A valid driver's license and ability to pass drug and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to work in a team environment and learn to operate specialized machinery.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, repairs, and operates underground pipes, manholes, and lift stations that carry wastewater to treatment facilities.
• Maintains and cleans treatment plant and lift station areas, including grounds upkeep.
• Line cleaning using high-pressure water jet trucks and mechanical rodders to prevent blockages.
