Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Account Executive in the Lexington, VA area to identify leads, prospect new business, and sell a full suite of waste and recycling solutions. You will meet with decision-makers, present services, and grow revenue across commercial and industrial accounts.

Responsibilities include following up on leads quickly, using Salesforce daily, delivering compelling presentations, and maintaining market intelligence to anticipate client needs. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of direct selling experience in a customer-facing role.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Identify viable leads and acquire new, profitable commercial, industrial and recycling business.
• Follow up on leads within 2 hours and log follow-ups in Salesforce.
• Schedule and document activities in Salesforce and build robust prospective customer profiles.
• Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients and close sales.
• Conduct cold calls to establish appointments with decision-makers.
• Monitor market trends to anticipate customer needs and adjust strategies.
• Explain services and pricing to grow revenue and meet company goals.
