Job summary

Reworld is hiring a Waste Process Technician I in Hodgkins, IL, for 2nd shift (2pm–10:30pm). You will off-load inbound trucks, perform QA/QC on waste streams, sample materials, and operate forklifts and other equipment in a compliance-focused environment.

The role requires basic mechanical understanding, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training and benefits support ongoing growth, including GED options and safety-first procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to pass respirator fit test.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Off-load inbound trucks and manage waste streams QA/QC.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, pressure washers, and hand trucks safely.
• Perform waste processing steps including shredding and material verification.
