Job summary

Reworld is seeking a Waste Process Technician I to safely perform core waste processing tasks, including off-loading, QA/QC, sampling, and material handling with forklifts and related equipment. You will support daily compliance, document control, and site cleanliness in a hazardous environment.

The role requires basic mechanical understanding of processing equipment and the ability to work in varying weather conditions. Benefits include comprehensive plans and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience
• Able to pass respirator fit test
• Ability to utilize NetSuite
• Must exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and time management
• Must be able to operate cranes, forklifts, hand trucks, and other power tools
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Kneeling, crawling, stooping, bending, or twisting for extended periods of time
• Walking/standing/sitting for extended periods
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to perform safely in various weather conditions and work environments

Responsibilities

• Understand basic facility permit requirements and support safety/compliance
• Operate equipment including pressure washers, power tools, hand trucks, forklifts
• Safely operate mobile equipment within facility boundaries
• Off-load inbound packages, liquid trucks, and containers
• Process inbound material using facility and mobile equipment
• Perform waste stream QA/QC & lab analysis on receiving/shipping material
• Submit facility paperwork (receiving, piece count, material verification, manifest review)
• Clean facility and grounds
