Job summary

Veolia North America, LLC is seeking a Waste Processing Team Lead to supervise Environmental Technicians and oversee hazardous waste handling at one of our facilities in Pennsylvania. You will coordinate packaging, testing, and documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulations while maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities include training technicians, operating forklifts, maintaining records, and communicating facility needs to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree in Chemistry or Environmental Science (preferred).
• OSHA 40-hour training with 8-hour refresher (preferred).
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Segregate and package material for transport and complete paperwork per regulations and policies.
• Oversee technicians and large projects from receipt to settlement.
• Collect samples of inbound waste and perform onsite testing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local permit requirements.
• Train and coach technicians on equipment operation and processes.
• Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment when trained.
• Maintain operational documentation and orders.
• Report incidents or safety concerns to management.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures and company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
