Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Senior Waste Operations Supervisor to oversee day-to-day hazardous waste handling, compliance, and safety at a North American site. You will supervise staff, coordinate lab depack/repack of waste feed, and ensure alignment with the kiln waste feed plan.

Responsibilities include maintaining waste tracking, training personnel, and ensuring PPE and regulatory adherence across OSHA, EPA, DOT, TSCA. A strong leader with strong communication and reporting skills is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead lab depack/repack of waste feed to maximize revenue.
• Coordinate and meet kiln waste feed plan.
• Ensure waste tracking compliance.
• Manage waste discrepancies and rejects.
• Ensure PPE usage by employees.
• Respond to emergencies as required.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental policies.
• Oversee compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT and regulations.
• Coordinate required training courses.
• Oversee equipment operation and maintenance.
• Train team members to meet performance standards.
• Maintain professional client interactions and problem solving.
