Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Waste Processing Team Lead to supervise a team of Environmental Technicians, manage hazardous waste handling, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role emphasizes training, safety, and accurate records, with operations across various facilities.

The position requires physical stamina, OSHA training, and ability to work overtime and travel as needed. This is an on-site role within the Clean Earth integration efforts and supports environmental services across

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 2+ years of experience with hazardous waste.
• 40 hours OSHA training with 8-hour refresher (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Segregate and package material for transport with proper paperwork.
• Oversee technicians and large projects from receipt to settlement.
• Collect samples of inbound waste and perform onsite testing.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local permit requirements.
• Provide training and coaching on equipment operation, processes, and paperwork.
