Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee a shift handling waste processing activities, including sampling, analysis, documentation, and disposition. You will enforce safety procedures and train staff while supervising 2+ employees and coordinating with vendors and treatment facilities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste management.
• Knowledge of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of operations personnel.
• Coordinates with vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities.
• Directs off-loading operations for receipt of materials.
• Ensures safe handling and treatment of wastes and sampling for analysis.
• Trains personnel on processing procedures and safety rules.
• Participates in emergency response operations.
