Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Landfill to lead a team of operators and laborers in a high‑volume landfill operation. You will ensure compliance with permits, safety programs, and environmental standards while working with the Operations Manager to hit budget targets.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, customer experience, and efficiency, with responsibilities spanning planning, tooling, and employee development within a dynamic waste management environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Lead Operators, Operators and/or General Laborers to operate the landfill efficiently.
• Ensure fill sequencing plans are followed and density goals are met.
• Enforce safety, environmental and regulatory compliance; manage safety programs.
• Drive customer experience and engagement through reliable service.
• Manage labor hours and disposal expenses to meet budget.
• Develop talent and coach team members for advancement.
• Collaborate with maintenance to keep equipment safe and functional.
