Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Supervisor – Landfill to lead a team of Lead Operators and Operators in executing safe, compliant landfill operations. You will ensure fill sequencing, density goals, and permit adherence while partnering with managers to drive safety, efficiency, and customer experience.

Your role requires a strong leadership presence, problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to develop high-performance teams in a regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Safety: lead safety goals, remove unsafe conditions, ensure equipment safety and compliance, promote a culture of safe operations.
• Customer Experience: deliver service that meets customer expectations, resolve issues, communicate with stakeholders, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Efficiency: set productivity goals, manage labor hours and disposal costs, execute plans to meet budgeted goals, support maintenance and fleet operations.
• Employee Engagement: foster a collaborative team environment, develop talent, coach for advancement, perform other duties as needed.
