Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience.
• Knowledge of hazardous waste management.
• Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple responsibilities.
• Knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing and recycling techniques.
• Knowledge of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the activities of operations personnel.
• Coordinates with vendors, transporters, and treatment facilities.
• Ensures safe handling and storage of process chemicals.
• Directs off-loading and receipt of materials into storage and waste processing systems.
• Performs sampling and post-treatment waste analysis to determine disposition.
• Trains facility personnel on processing procedures and safety rules.
• Participates in emergency response operations on and off-site.
