Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Operations Lead to manage daily field operations for environmental services projects. You will lead crews, coordinate resources, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while translating business priorities into on-site execution.

This hands-on role requires strong operations judgement, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and collaboration with maintenance and cross-functional teams to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Experience applying safety and regulatory standards in waste operations.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of waste handling, processing, and DOT training where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily work activities to ensure safe, compliant waste operations.
• Coordinate crews, equipment, and schedules to meet goals.
• Enforce safety procedures and provide operational training.
• Oversee inventory, supplies, and vendor coordination.
• Review documentation including manifests and regulatory records.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams for transportation equipment.
