Job summary

Sew-Eurodrive Colombia Ltda is seeking a 2nd shift packer to prepare and pack shafts and gear sets for shipping and warehousing. You will operate the Lewis Washer/Stoelting Washer and maintain accurate records.

Insights into the role include following ISO quality and safety guidelines, performing routine maintenance, and meeting daily production requirements in a fast-paced environment with interruptions. A 10% shift premium applies to 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work.
• Must be able to continuously meet the Company’s production requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
• Must be able to occasionally sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, push and pull, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.

About the Role

Basic Purpose: Currently the position involves preparing and packing shafts and gear sets for shipping and warehousing, will be required to do other tasks as needed.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.27 + 10% Shift Differential

Actual Tasks:

• Operate Lewis Washer/Stoelting Washer.
• Keep accurate and timely records required in job.
• Count and inspect parts being packed.
• Assist in routine maintenance of Lewis Washer/Stoelting Washer.
• Must comply with all current ISO Quality and Work Instructions for job, all Company Safety rules, and all other Company rules, policies and procedures.

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to perform all tasks listed above to the Company’s expectations.
• Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis.
• Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work
• Must be able to continuously meet the Company’s production requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions.
• Must be able to occasionally sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, push and pull, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
