Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE - USA is seeking a hands-on assembler for IG products in Lyman, SC. This onsite, first-shift role involves building gear motors and drives, inspecting parts, and maintaining stock between lines. A strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints are essential for success.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives.
• Maintain parts stock between assembly lines.
• Use calipers, depth gauges, and gauges to inspect parts.
• Visually inspect work and perform rework as needed.
• Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop.

About The Role

BASIC PURPOSE: Position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock, testing and service, packing, and general clean up. At this time the primary focus involves IG (Industrial Gear) products.

PAY RANGE: $18-$20

This is an onsite 1st shift position

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to safely move material to and from workstation using fork truck or overhead crane.
