Job summary

SEW-EURODRIVE is hiring for a 2nd shift packer responsible for preparing and packing shafts and gear sets for shipping. You will operate Lewis Washer/Stoelting Washer, count and inspect parts, and maintain accurate production records.

The role requires following ISO and safety rules, with opportunities for additional tasks as needed. A 10% shift premium applies to 2nd and 3rd shifts, with comprehensive benefits starting DAY ONE.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate washers and packing lines per ISO/FI instructions.
• Ability to count, inspect, and record parts accurately.
• Eligible to work in the United States on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Basic Purpose: Currently the position involves preparing and packing shafts and gear sets for shipping and warehousing, will be required to do other tasks as needed.

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.27 + 10% Shift Differential

Actual Tasks: Operate Lewis Washer/Stoelting Washer. Keep accurate and timely records required in job. Count and inspect parts being packed. Assist in routine maintenance of Lewis Washer/Stoelting Washer. Must comply with all current ISO Quality and Work Instructions for job, all Company Safety rules, and all other Company rules, policies and procedures.

Skills/Abilities: Ability to perform all tasks listed above to the Company’s expectations. Must be currently eligible and authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing indefinite basis. Ability to organize workload for timely accomplishment of work Must be able to continuously meet the Company’s production requirements. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous interruptions. Must be able to occasionally sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, push and pull, bend, twist, stoop, and kneel. A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
