SEW-EURODRIVE - USA is seeking a 1st shift assembly associate in South Carolina. The role involves inventory prep, parts pulling, assembling, testing, washing, packing, and shipping/receiving with a primary focus on parts pulling. Competitive hourly pay and benefits start on DAY ONE.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, following ISO and safety guidelines, and may rotate among assembly tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
• Good oral and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to move material using forklift or overhead crane.
• Physical ability to bend, twist, lift, push, pull and reach to meet production needs.
• Must repetitively lift up to 30 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs.
• Must stand and move continuously during shifts.

Responsabilités

• Hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives; maintain stock between assembly lines.
• Parts pulling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving.
• Inspect all work visually and rework as necessary and follow ISO quality and safety rules.
• Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop and report unsafe conditions.

About The Role

Basic Purpose: This 1st Shift position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean up. The main focus of the position at this time is parts pulling.

Pay: $20.27/hr.

Shift: 1st shift

Top Actual Tasks

• Must visually inspect all work and rework as necessary.
• Must comply with all current ISO Quality and Work Instructions for job, all Company Safety rules, and all other Company rules, policies and procedures.
• Assess each situation and do not perform any tasks which s/he feels is unsafe, on which s/he has not received training, or engage in any unsafe work practices. Report any unsafe condition to his/her manager.
• Read and understand supporting documentation for the work area.
• Monitor the work area for cleanliness.
• Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
