SEW-EURODRIVE is seeking a 3rd shift assembler in Lyman, SC to perform hand assembly of gear motors and related components. The role includes stock upkeep, parts pulling, testing, packaging and shipping, with a strong emphasis on meeting production needs and quality standards.

The position offers a base pay of $18.43 per hour plus a 10% shift premium, and full benefits beginning on DAY ONE. A strong mechanical aptitude and safety-conscious mindset are essential.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives.
• Maintain parts stock between assembly lines and perform parts pulling.
• Repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing, and service.
• Wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving, and general clean up.
• Inspect work visually and rework as necessary; rotate to various jobs.

About the Role

Basic Purpose:

This 3rd Shift position involves all aspects of the assembly processes including putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, assembling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping /receiving and general clean up. The main focus of the position at this time is parts pulling.

Pay: $18.43/hr. + 10% Shift Premium

Top Actual Tasks for this role:

• Hand assembly of gear motors, reducers, and adjustable drives, maintain parts stock between assembly lines, putting up inventory stock, parts pulling, repair/restock/warranty evaluations, testing and service, wash/prep/paint, packing, shipping/receiving and general clean up.
• Must visually inspect all work and rework as necessary.
• Read and understand supporting documentation for the work area.
• Monitor the work area for cleanliness.
• Rotate to various jobs within Assembly Shop.

A 10% shift premium is paid for 2nd and 3rd shift positions.
