Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp, headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks a General Superintendent Warranty to manage warranty field work and lead related personnel across multiple sites. Qualifications

• 7+ years of site supervision experience on utility-scale projects.
• Proven track record as a Superintendent on large projects (> $20M).
• Thorough knowledge of standard utility-scale solar construction practices.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines on field work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead warranty-related field work and personnel.
• Assist in developing CPM schedules for installation activities and a schedule of values for billing.
• Coordinate activities, schedule, material procurement, logistics, and temporary facilities with the Warranty Manager.
• Review and approve materials/equipment for Mechanical/Structural systems and monitor installation and startup.
• Prepare reports and communicate progress to Warranty Managers/Directors and project Owners during weekly meetings.
• Review contract documents and suggest improvements.
• Supervise, develop, and mentor Engineers.
• Coordinate submittals and shop drawings.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure effective communication and results.
• Provide cost estimation, including identifying costs and tracking actuals; cost reporting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Regular attendance as per company policy.
