Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp is seeking a General Superintendent - Electrical to lead the electrical discipline across large-scale projects in the U.S. The role reports to the Field Operations Manager, with hybrid work from home and project sites, and requires extensive travel and strong leadership of the electrical team.

You will develop CPM schedules, manage values for billing, review subcontractor work, and ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

7+ years' experience in Site Supervision.
Proven track record as a Superintendent on large projects with values above $20 million (electrical portions).
Thorough knowledge of Construction Code
Medium voltage experience
Experience dealing with subcontracts and subcontractors
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience managing the performance of major projects
Minimum of 2 years of solar PV or wind power project experience, preferred
Fluent in written and spoken English; other language skills are a plus

Responsibilities

Lead electrical superintendents and craft throughout the project duration.
Develop detailed CPM schedules and a schedule of values for billing.
Coordinate activities, schedule, material procurement, and logistics with the project manager and field staff
Review and approve materials/equipment for Electrical systems and monitor installation and startup
Prepare reports and communicate progress to Project Managers/Directors and project Owners during weekly meetings
Travel up to 100% as needed
Attend team meetings and coordinate submittals/shop drawings
