Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp, headquartered in Houston, TX, seeks a General Superintendent Mechanical to lead project teams, set standards, and mentor staff. The role is hybrid, with on-site travel to various jobsites, and hours Mon–Fri, 8:00–17:00 or 9:00–18:00 local time.

Overtime and frequent travel may be required. Applicants must have extensive experience on major projects, strong leadership, safety awareness, and solid knowledge of construction codes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ site supervision experience.
• Proven track record as a Superintendent on large projects (> $20M).
• Thorough knowledge of Construction Codes and safety standards.
• Experience with subcontracts and subcontractors.
• Solar PV or wind project experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all project superintendents and craft teams.
• Develop CPM schedules and values for billing.
• Coordinate activities, materials, and logistics with project manager.
• Review materials and coordinate mechanical/structural systems installation.
• Prepare progress reports for PMs and owners.
• Review contracts and recommend improvements.
• Mentor Engineers across disciplines.
• Coordinate submittals and shop drawings.
• Provide cost estimation and project cost tracking.
• Travel up to 100% as required.
