Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp in Houston, TX seeks a General Superintendent Warranty to manage warranty field work, lead a team of engineers and field staff, and coordinate installation activities across multiple sites. The role reports to the Warranty Manager and offers a hybrid work model with travel to jobsites nationwide.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of site supervision experience on utility-scale projects, with strong knowledge of solar construction, medium voltage, and racking systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in site supervision and managing skilled trade technicians on utility-scale construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead warranty-related field work and supervise personnel.
• Develop CPM schedules for installation activities and value schedules for billing.
• Coordinate activities, material procurement, logistics, and field staff with the Warranty Manager.
• Review materials/equipment for Mechanical/Structural systems and monitor installation/startup.
• Prepare progress reports for Warranty Managers and project Owners in weekly meetings.
• Review contract documents and suggest improvements.
• Supervise and mentor Electrical/Mechanical/Structural/Civil Project Engineers.
• Coordinate submittals and shop drawings.
• Manage costs: identify, track, and report time, materials, and labor costs.
