Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–6 months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and expertise.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes claims to determine warranty eligibility and submits information to manufacturer for reimbursement consideration.
• Codes warranty claims accurately and efficiently to ensure a high claim acceptance rate.
• Maintains accurate records of all warranty claims with manufacturer credit statements and documents all claims activity.
• Reconciles outstanding warranty claims with manufacturer credit statements and documents all claims activity.
• Investigates outstanding claims and submits an appeal to manufacturers for payment when necessary.
• Confers with various departments and manufacturers to complete the warranty claims process.
• Establishes and maintains positive working relationships.
• Updates warranty department manuals as needed and suggests process improvements.
