Job summary

U.S. Xpress is seeking a Coordinator, Warranty to interpret, verify, and process warranty claims for reimbursement of services and parts. The role is based at USX Headquarters with standard hours, and on-site work only.

You will review repair orders, coordinate with vendors, recover funds, and ensure accurate documentation in the warranty system. A high school diploma and one year of related experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, with related experience.
• At least 1 year in truck/auto service or parts preferred.
• Experience in warranty, data entry, journal billing, and payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, verify, and process warranty claims for reimbursement.
• Review repair orders for warranty impact.
• Process warranty claims with established procedures; may involve outside vendor software.
• Confirm warranty eligibility by reviewing mileage, in-service date, failure type, and coverage.
• Work with vendors on warranty policy and administration.
• Administer warranty allowable while protecting company interests.
• Review repair descriptions for clarity and brevity.
• Eliminate warranty charge-backs.
• Recover funds charged to US Xpress by dealers and vendors for warrantable repairs.
• Research and adjust any charge-backs or denied claims.
• Ensure standard repair times are posted and discrepancies reported.
• Coordinate with shop personnel on accuracy of claim data and posting of parts costs.
• Request invoices and file into warranty system.
• Route claims to managers for assistance in filing.
• Follow up on processed claims to ensure proper reimbursement.
• Monitor, certify, and process warranty documents promptly.
• Represent a positive image with vendors and shops.
