Job summary

Cumberland International Trucks in Ocala, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team. The role handles international/vendor warranty claims, ensures proper documentation, and supports technicians in determining coverage.

You will reconcile warranty receivables, post credits and chargebacks, and follow up on payments within 60 days. We offer growth opportunities in a family-owned dealership culture and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in the Medium/Heavy Duty truck industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Understand vendor warranty guidelines and approval processes.
• Assist technicians in determining covered components.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, code, and submit international/vendor warranty claims with proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with warranty policies and procedures.
• Assist technicians in determining covered components.
• Reconcile warranty receivables and process credits/chargebacks; follow up on payments up to 60 days.
• Review chargebacks with service manager and resubmit underpaid/rejected claims.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, coding, & submission of all International/vendor warranty claims in a timely manner & with correct/proper documentation
• Understands & ensures compliance with all international/vendor policies & warranty procedures
• Assists technicians & service staff in determining which components/failures are covered
• Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments within the appropriate accounting schedule weekly / Posts all credits/chargebacks / Follows up on payment of outstanding claims, not to exceed 60 days
• Reviews warranty chargeback’s with service manager; resubmits rejected or underpaid claims if applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Medium / Heavy Duty truck, automotive industry / High degree of product & technical knowledge / Great organizational skills
• Understand, communicate, & evaluate all vendors/Int’l. warranty guidelines, approval processes & policies
• Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer / Self-motivated with excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Superior problem-solving skills to achieve a win-win solution / Understanding & experience with Microsoft programs/applications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a hot or cold, wet or humid, moderately noisy environment.
