Job summary

Cumberland International Trucks, Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking a detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team.

This Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM role offers opportunities to grow within the organization and advance your career while supporting a customer-centric dealership culture. Responsibilities include processing international/vendor warranty claims with proper documentation, ensuring policy compliance, and assisting technicians in determining coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience with warranty claims processing and vendor guidelines.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers, technicians and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting practices.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, coding, and submission of all International/vendor warranty claims with proper documentation.
• Ensures compliance with all international/vendor policies and warranty procedures.
• Assists technicians and service staff in determining covered components/failures.
• Reconciles warranty receivables with payments weekly; posts credits and chargebacks; follows up on payments up to 60 days.
• Reviews warranty chargebacks with service manager and resubmits rejected/underpaid claims when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, coding, & submission of all International/vendor warranty claims in a timely manner & with correct/proper documentation
• Understands & ensures compliance with all international/vendor policies & warranty procedures
• Assists technicians & service staff in determining which components/failures are covered
• Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments within the appropriate accounting schedule weekly / Posts all credits/chargebacks / Follows up on payment of outstanding claims, not to exceed 60 days
• Reviews warranty chargeback’s with service manager; resubmits rejected or underpaid claims if applicable

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Medium / Heavy Duty truck, automotive industry / High degree of product & technical knowledge / Great organizational skills
• Understand, communicate, & evaluate all vendors/Int’l. warranty guidelines, approval processes & policies
• Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer / Self-motivated with excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Superior problem-solving skills to achieve a win-win solution / Understanding & experience with Microsoft programs/applications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in a hot or cold, wet or humid, moderately noisy environment.
