Job summary

Cumberland International Trucks is seeking a Warranty Administrator for our Ocala, FL location. This role focuses on timely preparation and submission of International/vendor warranty claims, ensuring documentation accuracy and policy compliance.

Ideal candidates will assist technicians, verify coverage, and manage receivables within the established schedule, supporting a customer-centric, family-owned dealership culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in the Medium/Heavy Duty truck, automotive industry with high degree of product & technical knowledge and great organizational skills.
• Understand, communicate, and evaluate all vendors/Int’l. warranty guidelines, approval processes & policies.
• Team player with a strong sense of commitment to the customer and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
• Superior problem-solving skills to achieve win-win solutions and knowledge of Microsoft programs.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, coding, and submission of all International/vendor warranty claims in a timely manner with correct documentation.
• Ensure compliance with international/vendor policies and warranty procedures.
• Assist technicians and service staff in determining covered components/failures and ensure accurate processing.

Responsibilities

• Preparation, coding, & submission of all International/vendor warranty claims in a timely manner & with correct/proper documentation
• Understands & ensures compliance with all international/vendor policies & warranty procedures
• Assists technicians & service staff in determining which components/failures are covered
• Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments within the appropriate accounting schedule weekly / Posts all credits/chargebacks / Follows up on payment of outstanding claims, not to exceed 60 days
• Reviews warranty chargeback’s with service manager; resubmits rejected or underpaid claims if applicable
