Job summary

Trinity Rehab in Connecticut seeks a friendly Patient Care Coordinator to support front desk operations at our outpatient physical therapy clinic. You will greet patients, help with the check-in kiosk, schedule appointments, and collect co-pays.

This role emphasizes patient interaction, accuracy in data entry, and keeping the reception area organized. Prior experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided, and reliability is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, professional, and comfortable interacting with patients.
• Dependable with a consistent work schedule.
• Basic computer and data-entry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle payments accurately.
• Willingness to learn scheduling and check-in systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Check patients in and assist them with the clinic's check-in kiosk.
• Provide additional assistance to new patients completing the check-in process.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
• Collect co-payments and provide receipts when needed.
• Make copies of identification cards, insurance cards, and patient paperwork.
• Scan, copy, and organize basic documents.
• Answer or direct occasional basic patient questions.
• Notify the appropriate team member when a patient requires additional assistance.
• Keep the front desk and reception area neat and organized.
• Complete other basic front desk duties as assigned.
